In case of winds over 6 Beaufort your trip has to be done in an alternative date or the renters have to agree in an alternative route in order to maximise the safety on board if it is possible. If neither of the above options are possible because of the wind “Nereides Cruises” has to cancel the renting.

• No license is required for driving our boats However, if you feel that you need a skipper, you must inform us before booking in order to check availability
• Renters have to arrive 30 minutes prior to their booking, in order to familiarize with the boat in a driving lesson and geting the proper handling and safety instructions
• Customers have to deliver the boat at our base in the state that was received
• Early return of the vessel does not entitle the customer a refund claim
• Late return will be charged extra, as a second half-day booking without discount
• All passengers are obliged to know how to swim
• Please note that there aren’t any kind of docks at Provatas Beach, so accessing the boat requires basic balance skills, as you may need to walk in the water or on rocks in order to get on board
• Renting a boat is not recommended for pregnant women

• Alcohol is strictly forbidden
• The renter and captain of the boat should be at least 21 years old to book with us and speak either English or Greek in order to fully understand any instructions provided
• In order to approach a shore
• if there are buoys the boat is forbidden to be closer than 100 meters to the buoys
• if there are not any buoys then you have to keep a safety distance of 300 meters from the shore
• The renter must be cautious and aware with the renting boat but also and with the other boats in sea

• Maximum number of passengers dependent on the choosing boat (children count as adults on board
• In case of renting a boat the maximum number of passengers will be 5
• In case of a cruise with our boat Amfitriti the maximum number of passengers will be 7 (+1 crue)
• Chirdrens must be up to 3 years old
• Children (3-14 years old) should wear life jackets when boat is moving
• All passengers must know how to swim
• The activity of renting a small boat is not recommended for pregnant women

• The boats are fully equipped with all legally required equipment, life vests, fire extinguisher, etc
• There is a gps tracking system which allows us to know the exact location of the boat at all times
• The renter is obliged to bring a mobile phone with them, fully charged, with a working connection to the internet, or at least with a working cellular connection. Renter is obliged to have this phone by/near them at all times in case of need to contact them
• In case the owner or the qualified person assigned by the owner judges that it is unsafe for the renter to rent a boat, then the owner has the right to cancel the reservation (reckless behavior, inability to comprehend the rules, insufficient experience of boating, etc.)

Although boats are insured the renter is primarily responsible for any damage/loss to the boat and its equipment. In such case the renter will have to compensate in full both the required repairs/equipment and the resulted loss of earnings. The renter will be held responsible for the actions of the other members of his party as well.

• In order to rent a boat, the amount of € 300 must be reserved from your card. Thus, at check-in renter must have a valid credit or debit card with them, from which the amount of €300 can be reserved. The amount will be released right after the check-out if there is no damage to the boat
• In case the reservation cannot happen because of an issue with your card, then the rental will be cancelled
• In case of renting a boat the cost of fuel will be paid at check-out but in case of a cruise the fuel is included in the price

• Cancellation is required at least 48 hours prior to time of reservation for receiving a refund
• Cancellation or no-show on the date of the reservation will result in the customer being charged full rental fee
• In case of bad weather or wind, planned hires may be delayed or cancelled, in this case no Cancellation fees apply
• Please don’t be late for your booking. In case you are late for over 15 minutes, your booking will be canceled and your boat will be given to the next available customer
• ”Nereides Cruises” may at its absolute discretion refuse to hand over a boat or terminate the boat rental period in advance where, in the opinion of ”Nereides Cruises” the driver is likely to cause damage, distress or fails to comply with company rules. In such an event, ”Nereides Cruises” will be under no obligation to refund any money
